OPERA WORKSHOP

Taught by Dawn Arnold, Barbara Martin, and Michael LaTour
The Opera Workshop will bring together the three areas of an opera singer's world - the music
direction, the stage direction, and the acting of the role. Opera singers will learn the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique from Master Teacher, Dawn Arnold, and apply it to their roles under the music direction of Barbara Martin and the stage direction of Michael LaTour. The three facets of the opera singer's art will be interwovento help opera singers develop their characters and bring their acting and singing together for dynamic and believable performance.
